Great vibe, really friendly staff. Good range of lunch options and open late into the afternoon which is ideal. Had the mushroom toastie which was perfectly juicy and a little spicy just what I needed. And to top it off an extra rich choccy milkshake. Need to come back properly to try the coffee and the bacon and egg toastie.

Love the vegan menu on the flip side of the standard menu – great idea (no need to request vegan menu); friendly service all round (and prompt with Messenger chat too prior to our visit); coffee was perfect for both my partner and I (soy lattes that really hit the morning spot!); cozy venue with plenty of rustic charm; we had the scrambled tofu with the most delightful homemade hashbrowns (seriously yummy) and sautéed mushrooms. I had brunch here with a mate today, staff were so good, a vibe here for sure, my mate had a toasty and cakes, I had the hash with thick cut bacon, coffee was great! The owner was in and chatted to us at the till about our experience and thought it was only fitting we leave a good review

Ray’s has been on my list for a long time, so happy I finally got the chance to check them out! Staff were friendly, food was delicious, the coffee hit the spot as well. Very spacious interior with great lighting. Pancakes were the standout of this visit, with my husband claiming they are the best he has had, in Melbourne. We will definitely be back for more.
