My wife and I enjoyed the coffee but the scones we were served were rock hard and inedible. We noticed another couple also left their scones as they were also hard and inedible. We enjoyed the museum and would return to it again, however we will not be visiting the Cafe again.

Great variety on the menu. Very fast service. Reasonable prices. Nice outdoor space with a roof to enjoy your meal. Delicious salt and pepper calamari available. Very impressive iced chocolates.

A hidden gem inside the heritage museum. It’s free to enter via the Museum’s main entrance. Great coffee and range of food. Good prices too. It’s an interesting setting amongst the museum’s outdoor exhibits. Try the curly fries!

I’m not paying $5 to go into a museum I don’t want to go into, just to buy coffee. You might wonder why the coffee van 250 metres away is doing such a roaring trade!

Very disappointed. The first place we stop is always the info centre. In over 12000km’s never have we had to pay to walk through information centre to buy a coffee. We weren’t interested in museum just wanted a coffee after a long drive. Local caravan park said a lot of travelers are always complaining

Reception has the usual pamphlets and info. Staff were friendly. Plenty of parking. Gold coin donation through to the museum and on to the cafe at the back. This accesses the outdoor section of the museum with buildings and machinery.
