Paid a premium for 3 slow cooked pulled beef burritos. Where was the beef? If I spend $22 for a beef burrito, there should probably be some beef on it. Nothing. Basically a cold, sloppy, rice burrito. Girl working there had zero manners and even less enthusiasm. Now wishing I took a photo of it. It was seriously that bad. First and last time eating there.

The food at Burrito Bar Ballina is always fresh and flavorful. The burritos are my personal favorite, but I’ve also enjoyed the tacos, quesadillas, and nachos. The ingredients are always high-quality, and the flavors are always spot-on. For example, the ground beef in the burritos is always well-seasoned and cooked to perfection. The tortillas are also fresh and soft, and they never fall apart.

I was travelling through and I was impressed by the menu options so thought I’d give it a try rather than eating at a major chain restaurant. Ordered a signature burrito and 6 BBQ wings. The guy at the counter was struggling as he was obviously new, but overall did an ok job. I confirmed the order with him as I had overheard another order was incorrect. The food came and I headed off. I opened the bag to find the 6 wings and another box of some sort of chicken. No burrito and no time to go back. The meal was so tough and dry it could have easily been cooked 2 days ago. Overall very disappointing from a restaurant that looked to have a lot of potential to serve great food.

I’ve eaten here many times before and have rated 5 stars but unfortunately I have to change my review. The last time we went here the atmosphere was very uncomfortable. My partner and I were treated horribly by one female who works there. She was not accomodating, had a bad temper and was very rude, not just to us but to everyone there. We didn’t feel in the slightest bit comfortable asking her to accommodate for our dietary requirements when ordering as she was just that hot headed. I also witnessed another customer who left really upset from the employees behaviour which is really disheartening to see. We’ve made a complaint and so have other customers but it seems like there is no action being taken. This is a deal breaker for us and we will not be coming back again.

Been many times over the last few years and thought I’d finally express my gratitude. The wings have been absolutely delicious everytime I get them (on a Wednesday of course as they’re only 50c each) and spoil myself sometimes on a weekend with their ribs and chips deal. First time ever eating ribs and burrito bar made it a great experience with reason for me to come back every few weekends. Keep up the flavours and the great customer service guys because I will be back again no doubt.
