I’m from Melbourne and this place has the best burgers in Mackay! I was really bummed leaving behind Grill’d, Metro Burgers and Betty’s but Brodies has made me so happy with their delicious food. Huge burgers, fresh and quality. New owners as of last year and it’s really different now. Breakfast is also delicious! Totally underrated place. 🙂

I once worked here not long after they originally opened. I have great memories and the place seemed to run well. This was 15 years ago not long after I left the quality dropped ( as much as I’d like to think it was because I left but it wasn’t). About 3 weeks ago I bought one of the worst burgers I’ve ever eaten. After my last trip I will not be returning.

21 December 2022 6.58pm order 36 :- Large chips NO SALT. Arrived home to find order had salt/seasoning despite server telling kitchen “no salt”. Returned and spoke to same server who organised a replacement telling kitchen (4 times) NO SALT again – due to my medical condition. Different girl came from kitchen (rather sheepishly) with my order. Got home to find chips only half cooked. Jasmine your service worth 5 stars but kitchen get 0 stars, hence review is 3 stars.

It’s great to support a local business, much better than Maccas. Can drive through. Prices are reasonable, quality is good. It is a bit slow but I guess it’s because the food is freshly cooked so it takes a little longer. But very yummy. I had the fried chicken burger with pineapple added.

The food is good and the staff are usually friendly. It’s not your typical fast food take away, if you are in a hurry I probably wouldn’t recommend going here, getting your order is never a quick process. Although if you have a little extra time to wait, it is generally great food

Just popped in for a snack to share with Mum, young person who served me was great….the store was a little under the pump and he was doing a few things at once but never once lost his cool even though I could see he was nervous about what my reaction would be. Sometimes customers need to relax a little and note that the people in these jobs are doing the best they can…I hope the managers read these comments and continue to train these great people. It was about 10.30 on 26th January.
