We went there last night for our 27th Anniversary. We made a booking prior, but were seated outside on the other side of the walkway at a table in the dark. It was very cold and windy so they provided me with a blanket. We ordered the a banquet each and 4 cocktails. The food and cocktails were excellent, but there was quite a few delays with the service so all up it took 2.5 hrs. This would have been okay except that we had to sit out in the cold for so long. It wasn’t the 5 star experience we were expecting.

Had a wonderful dinner here with friends. It’s at Byron Bay’s newest hotel. Food was pretty good. Especially the pasta and the stracciatella cheese. Service was very friendly too

Food was amazingly delicious, the service was pretty good. The atmosphere was alright, the restaurant didn’t have any sound proofing so it was very loud. The drinks were well make, and much better than the roof top bar, but they took a while to come. Also the plates, bowls and cutlery was awful, they definitely hadn’t been tested before hard and were awful to dine with. Our table of six would have dropped out cutlery at least 20 times throughout the night because it keep sliding off the dishes. We might come back, but definitely not before some of these changes have happened.
