Next to a little lake and looking quaint inside this looked like a nice French restaurant. The food was a bit of a mixed bag however. The cheese croquettes sounded interesting but we’re really too big and ended up feeling quite heavy when finished. The beef carpaccio was lovely and light which helped balance the meal. The seafood bouillabaisse was packed with seafood but it did look like it was pre-prepared and just chucked in an oven and therefore the squid and some other seafood was a little over done and chewy, it was also a little overly salty and moorish after a while. The duck was ok but not something we’d order again, all in all it was ok without leaving a great lasting impression.

Went for my birthday on a Sunday and had a wonderful evening! Staff were very polite, professional and made the meal feel like an experience. The beef carpaccio was my favourite of the appetisers we had, and the steak on fire was perfectly cooked to my liking.

We should have known to skip this restaurant when there wasn’t a single diner. The place & food reminds me of Gordon Ramsey’s show “Kitchen nightmares” . The Bouillabaisse was served with a top layer of oil, seafood was overcooked & tough.

This is a beautiful restaurant with nice quiet ambience to share an intimate dinner with your significant other or quiet dinner with Friends. French restaurant with an Asian Waiter who is attentive and polite. Not a huge place but you won’t get under anyone’s feet when you go to bathroom. Has outdoor seating and is right on the waterfront. Have been twice because we liked it so much the first time.

WARNING do NOT go here if you like freshly prepared unprocessed meals. After reading the reviews and the write up on the resturant by the new owner, we decided to go here for dinner. On arrival I was instantly confused by the decor, cheap fake flowers, the waitstaff and chefs- was this really a European resturant? We decided to order the 6 course tasting menu….. the next 2 hours of tasting was long and desperately disappointing, bordering torture. Packet food is presented in a fine dining manner. Our dinner was $150, with no drinks! The first course beef dish was very tasty (despite being dusted with packet parmesean cheese), the second course was canned tuna and mayonnaise served on top of a puff pastry base with a piece of sundried tomato, third course was very yellow processed polenta that had been deep fried and tasted awful served on a bed of tomato sauce ( I wouldn’t be surprised if it were from a jar), fourth course was a poached pear salad and a cheese ball – the pear was an unripe crunchy pear soaked in some kind of liquor and balsamic vinigar…. 100% unedible.. the cheese ball served with Masterfoods mustard and a piece of cheddar cheese….. I am not even exaggerating, this is no word of a lie…. it was cheap packet food plated and served as fine dining… my main was 16 hour cooked beef ribs… it was likely cooked in a slow cooker, it was tender but there was as much fat as meat. It had no colour nor flavour. Served on a bed of what tasted like KFC mashed potatoes (definitely NOT made from scratch)… dessert was packet yellow panecotta and packet brownie served with chocolate syrup all over…

The food was very average, especially given the price. My carrots were rock hard, meat quite fatty and paired with a sauce that didn’t really go. The service really wasn’t great considering we were one of very few tables in the venue. Dessert was nice luckily but it’s not somewhere I’d return which is a shame given the nice location.

Amazing experience with the 6 course preset menu. Value for money, soo filling and taste with every dish was distinctive down to every ingredient. Dishes cooked to perfection and serving turn over was quick. Intimate atmosphere and amazing drinks. Second time here and soo glad to have this gem of a restaurant that serves modern European food with soo much variety. Really should of been an anniversary date it was faultless.
