A birthday celebration required great food and a nice atmosphere and Bistro Francais delivered on both. We worked our way through quite a bit of the menu and everything was a hit. We took some wine that we had been saving for a special occasion and they treated it with care. Great staff.

Food was lovely. Onion soup with amazing cheese to start, then SA prawns and the potato tart which was the highlight. A busy lunch service today made the kitchen slower than usual. Make sure you book!

Finally found the amazing chef from La Cliche North Adelaide. Tasted the Beef bourguignon and all I could think was is this the same chef. Honestly amazing restaurant and happy to be a loyal patron again. Everything was spot-on. Great front of house staff that are friendly and attentive. Good selection of french bistro classics. Will have to try his other venture, Four sides as well. 5/5 must try

Warm welcoming atmosphere, the desserts were amazing, quick and efficient services, the staff is friendly, if you want a little French nostalgia definitely the place to go to !

Would highly recommend this place. Great french cuisine and service. Good variety of wines and dishes. Do yourself a solid and get the onion soup. We’d recommend sticking around for dessert as well!!
