Tonight I decided it was time to try out the new chicken place in Golden Square. Bendigo Chicken Run. The staff were super friendly and served me with a smile and they had a ‘nothing is to much trouble’ attitude. I ordered the ¼ chicken and chips with a drink. I also tried the plum basting on the chicken for the first time which I enjoyed. While I waited for my order, I heard customers asking for items sold by the previous business. This is a new business, and is a straight up chicken shop. The meal I had was tasty and filled me up. The standout for me though was the customer service. Well done to the team!!!

I had 1/4 chicken this evening with BBQ and Peri sauce on top. It was so good, kinda smoky flavour in the sauce too, which I love it, but chicken itself was little bit dry, still taste good tho. And staff was absolutely friendly. Good job ❗️

Rotisserie chicken : Perfectly cooked but on the small side. Very tasty with no basting. The seasoning was also good with no strange surprises.

Sorry, but either people here have no taste buds, or.. um this was just a bad meal… my kids said the chicken was so dry.. and I 100% agree.. worst chicken wrap I’ve ever had.. and didn’t even finish it.. so hard to chew and swallow…. so tasteless.. yuck .. I got home and added grated cheese to it for some taste.. but that didn’t help much.. had to just try it, but yep, not coming back..
