Ordered the beef soup. I live like 100 metres away and in that time the soup incomprehensibly spilled everywhere in the bag. I walked at a normal pace, and look. The dish itself was mediocre. I ordered it extra spicy, did not find it spicy. The meat was hard and the fat/sinews chewy. Was a pretty bad dish overall

Had been eating at this place since they opened. Noodles have always been springy and pork shreds soft. It has been a 5-star place until today. The noodles I just had was too soft without the usual texture and pork shreds were hard. The whole dish (dry noodle with pork shreds) was unusually oily today. Not sure if the chef has been changed. I might try another day to see if the quality have gone down for good. If it’s the same poor quality, I would have lost 1 favourite place for good food.

Was looking forward to try Bashan and left happy. This is a Sichuan style casual restaurant located under a new apartment. The portion sizes are satisfying and presentation is nice. There are some non spicy options available, such as the Dan Dan Noodle which was very fragrant and tasty, and the soup dessert. The pickled rice noodle had different levels of spice options too. Overall good value, just don’t sit by the window on a sunny day.
