The place is nice and cozy. We were upstairs and they were pretty busy. Food pretty good and came pretty quick. The chicken ribs were super tasty. The person who was looking after table wasn’t friendly enough .. However the others were great

Gorgeous place in the middle of Chinatown Melbourne, with artwork and a nice chilled vibe. We ordered takeaway and they were more than happy to adjust dishes to be made vegan and it was all ready within 15-20 minutes. The food was crazy good. Would definitely recommend here if you love Thai food.

A good Thai place in the CBD. The ambiance is nice and cosy, not too noisy so you can talk to your friends. Highlight for us was the red duck curry which had tasty and punching flavour.

While in Melbourne for a work trip, we came across this little place and are so thankful we did! The food, atmosphere, and staff were great. Our waiter was amazing and when we asked him for recommendations he came back with a map to show us where to go. Definitely recommend Bangkok Jam to others

Bangkok Jam was a restaurant serving Thai/Asian fusion cuisine. We went there for dinner, and got the pandan chicken, egg noodles in chicken curry broth, and minced chicken salad. The chicken pieces had no pandan flavour whatsoever (not sure if they were meant to?) – they were simply wrapped in pandan leaves. The egg noodles was pretty good, but the soup was a ‘broth’ so not as thick as that of a curry. The minced chicken salad/Larb Gai was delicious and had a flavourful dressing but it was quite small in portion. Great drinks selection though, and lovely casual modern ambiance. Service was a bit slow but friendly.
