Was lucky enough to have my partner book this for a date night. Very quaint little space in West Perth, with an intimate dining space, that oddly feels familiar, like hugs from Grandma. The door was opened for us upon arrival, and we were seated quickly. The dining room held a longtable down the middle like a Viking longhall, with space for some smaller, more intimate tables down one side. An open kitchen allows you to watch things be plated and dressed if your date is uninteresting, mine however was top notch, of course… she’ll probably read this…. Special and intimate. The service is close by and attentive, without hovering, although one of our servers could be clumsy filling tea cups and placing the cutlery on their holder’s… to be honest, I had trouble with that too, so no biggie.

Unfortunately, the result was significantly disappointing, leaving us regretful for making such a decision. A great experience for fine dining chinese food in a cosy but intimate setting (< 20 seats i think). A lot of correspondence prior to ensure you know what the experience will/can be. We came as a group of 6, and left feeling like we had eaten for two each. On the pricier end, but definitely worth the value, you will be blown away with all the flavours!

Truly a fantastic experience. The windows to the front of restaurant are drawn. From the outside, it looks closed until a small door opens up welcoming the guests as they approach for the night. Once all has arrived it shuts and food is on the way.

One of the best Chinese private kitchen in Perth. Highly recommended if you want to try something different this one must to try. Because there’s no set of menu. All the dishes are crafted by the chef with higher quality seasoning ingredients. Matching the flavours and creating nice delicious dishes.
