We dined here on a Monday night so was quite with not many diners. Restaurant was clean and well appointed. Sat promptly at a table , but unfortunately was waiting for 20 mins plus to order. Then when we went to order was told the whole table needed the banquet when on the menu it does not state this only mentions 4 plus people need to have. (Owner fix this if this is correct and don’t falsely advertise or train your staff.) Then when we spoke to the second staff member on (only step staff working ) she advised we could do it. So we ordered. Then our food came before drinks as there was no communication between staff for drinks orders as there was only two staff. Lucky the food was delicious and fresh and just what the birthday girl wanted. The service was disgusting and highly unprofessional. When we mentioned we were celebrating a birthday and point to the birthday girl the staff member said that’s nice. Not even wishing a happy birthday for offering dessert for her. Would I recommend to others, food yea but would advise the person of the service. Would I be back , not in a hurry plenty of other restaurants to try for this sort of food and hopefully better service.

The atmosphere was amazing! Very nice seating arrangement and enough room for the family to sit (even with their kids).

The food is always tasty here and the variety is great. The restaurant wasn’t very busy or full and all patrons were scattered throughout the restaurant which looked like it made it challenging for the 2 floor staff to meet the needs of us and others. It took a while to order drinks because it was difficult to get the attention of any staff member.

Amazing and clean Lebanese restaurant with top notch service. We had the ‘Feast’ banquet and was treated to delicious and generous portions of hummus, baba ganoush, Tabouli, fatoush, kibbe, sambousek, falafel, kafta mishwe, shish tawook, laham mishwe, batata bi kizbara and mansaf rice. Our kids also ordered off the kids menu which was great! We will definitely visit again soon!

Highly recommend for fresh traditional Lebanese food. Tried the fried potatoes wich were so crunchy on the outside and soft on inside very good with a lemon finish. Also had trio skewer plate was awesome got to try but of everything (lamb was favourite) but all cooked very well nothing was dry.

Great place and great food but unfortunately the service could be better the drinks take ages to order and receive. But the food definitely makes up for it. I can understand that this restaurant is busy they should have one dedicated drinks person or just put more staff on . The staff here really do try tho and the food is excellent.

As per usual… Amazing food, service and ambience. It also looked like they took on feedback from the past where the music was too loud, it was so much nicer this time. While the prices are much higher than the typical Lebo restaurant located in South West Sydney, you get what you pay for through the service and ambience too.

First time dining at Al Aseel Restaurant Penrith today with my family. First of all there are no signs to direct us to the restaurant. My husband had to walk up 2 flights of stairs to see if we were in the right area, only to find these white doors with no signage – which is weird.
