Arrived when the restaurant was just open, so we were the first customers. Served by a nice lady, we ordered our food before people started dining in. The wait for food was pretty long for the fact that we were the first and only table at that time. We had a baba special and chicken skewers; both served with rice salad and garlic sauce. Marinated chicken was flavourful though a little dry while those skewers were slightly less in flavour. The portions vs prices were considered small and pricy. The meals didn’t fill us, so we had to order an additional meal which was a halloumi salad-nice but overwhelmed with garlicky sauce and the halloumi was over fried. The service was inefficient when getting busy as there were 3 staff but only one (seemingly a manager) could take orders while one made drinks and another just ran food/drinks.

Great spot, clear dietary info on the menu, I had the vegan platter and a zero alcohol Heineken. Platter was so delicious.

I rarely had Lebanese food but the flavours and herb/spices were on point! It has a very Middle Eastern feel to it. It’s great though! Service is quick, it’s next to South Bank, and it’s placed amongst many other good restaurants. I’d definitely go back again if I wanted some Lebanese food – whole grains, garlic, olive oil, chickpeas, purée paste! Hearty stuff! Only thing I’d say is its meat serving size – it’s not super generous..

My husband and I have been loyal customers of Baba Ganouj for an impressive five years, and every visit has been nothing short of exceptional. The unwavering consistency in both food quality and service is a testament to the dedication of this establishment. Our go-to special dish, Kibbi Nayeh is a true masterpiece. The texture is perfection and every bite is a culinary journey. The staff’s warm and attentive service adds an extra layer of enjoyment to our dining experience. Baba Ganouj holds a special place in our hearts, and we looking forward to many more years of delightful dining. And congratulations to your beautiful new restaurant, it’s stunning.

Excellent authentic Lebanese food and friendly great service. Mixed grill and veggie platter were both excellent. Shish tawook, pumpkin kibbeh, and spinach fatayer were all very fresh and tasty. Dips were also flavourful, including the toum, baba ganouj and especially the homous.

A bit disappointing honestly. Dispute the fact that the service and ambience are very good, the food wasn’t so great.

Baba Ganouj has recently revamped to new premises. We used to frequent the old place just a few doors away & always enjoyed the food there. They seem to have lost their mojo since moving. Plating of food needs work, looks sloppy. Prices have risen & food not as good

We came with a group of 4 and had the banquet. It was too much for us to finish but expensive and I don’t think I would get it again. My favourite was the cheese pastry things and the barramundi was excellent but everything else I didn’t love, just found it nice but nothing special. I think there was probably other things on the menu I would have preferred maybe, so would probably take the time to choose if I came back. Also didn’t enjoy the desserts included in the banquet and found them a disappointing end. The robot was definitely a cool touch and a fun experience. I wasn’t blown away by the food or the atmosphere and it was actually very hot and stuffy in the booth despite the place being quite empty on a Thursday evening.
