Food here used to be delectable. Really, a treat. Recently, I have returned to this much loved restaurant to find that the quality of the food has gone down. I tried about three times to get my taste for it back but ended up with gastroenteritis (severe) and vomiting for about a week. No hard feelings because the food used to be amazing.

Hand rolls seem to be fresh and tasty but i got their chicken karage curry yesterda and it was awful. The chicken tasted horrible and a very VERY cheap cut. some parts were beyond dry and couldn’t even chew through it.. Bread crumbs taste like store bought black & gold brand bread crumbs. I would not order the curry again from this store.

Tucked away on Monier Road is a little Korean run sushi shop which exceeds expectations. Sushi is made fresh every morning and made fresh if requested. All their larger dishes are made fresh upon ordering and one of those dishes is the star of the shop. The chicken karaage with its’ Korean twist. A side of cabbage and mashed potato although not traditional, compliment the main very well. I would recommend this place to many looking for a fast, fresh and well priced Japanese place close to home.
