Polite and nice staffs, good foods and very nice jasmine tea. Just they served appetizer and main food together, then we didn’t have time to eat our appetizer. And I just thinking they should change the method of serving foods, we ordered lobster and after few minutes it’s get so cold.

Food quality is average compared to the usual Chinatown banquet venues, yet prices are almost double. A plate of spinach is $40.

Very secretive entry that you need to call for staff to open door otherwise not letting walk in. Dishes were in high side but nicely present and good taste and it’s for Chinese that prefer private room.

Impressed by the freshness of fish and abalone on 26Feb2019 dinner even though the other dishes were so, so and a bit salty, we went again the next day and were greatly disappointed by the sea whelk that was tasteless and overpriced, and pork ribs that were deep fried to become needlessly tough.

A wonderful dining experience for lunch on weekdays. The environment is superb – we had the room all to ourselves on a quiet Thursday. The food is delicious and fresh. Staff is friendly and dedicated to provide a personal service. Will definitely be back.

The night started off great. Beautiful room, good service, great food. But we booked a private room so we can talk business. There is a dedicated waitress for the room and she was bored out of her mind. She kept on going in and out of the room (not to get anything or take anything away), and every time that door opens, the noise is so loud we cannot continue the conversation. The door also doesn’t fully close straight away afterwards either, it takes a good 20 seconds. So distracting when you are having discussions. She was also making noises drawing on the trays because she was bored instead of making sure our drinks were topped up.

I recently was lucky enough to be taken by a lovely friend to enjoy a lunch banquet at Royal Pavilion. I tried so many seafood dishes that I’d never even heard of before. OMG the Bailer shell soup was to die for and the quail was just so morish. The place felt so luxurious and there are gorgeous rooms for individual groups to dine in. You really feel like royalty. The wine list is to die for and the food out of this word…I hear the chef is pretty famous for his seafood and I’m not surprised. Every little detail about the place was well thought through right down to different chopsticks, one for eating and one for serving…so many nice touches…I could go on but I’m running out of space…it’s honestly a foodies heaven right here in Sydney.
