I had my dinner at this beautiful restaurant. It was my best experience in having Turkish food. I have tried many Turkish restaurants in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, but the quality of the food and service is unbelievable. I found out recently the restaurant is under new management. Abdul (manager and master chef) is a professional and friendly manager who knows his job perfectly. All the stuff on the floor under his management are doing fantastic work

We were in Lake Cathie for our first anniversary, and Zahara was recommended as an excellent restaurant to try. I’m so glad we did, the food was amazing, particularly the lamb cutlets, and everything is prepared in-house. The atmosphere was really friendly but still private, and Abdul and all the staff were absolutely lovely. We are definitely coming back next year, and probably earlier than that!

Quality, fresh ingredients and care in preparation are obvious when you try the food here. I had the mixed Shish, which was plenty of food for one large eater, possibly two small eaters. All the meats were tender, moist and flavourful. The salad was well prepared and fresh. The dips were spot on. Abdul was very accommodating and I will not hesitate to recommend my friends and family to come here..
