Loved this place! It’s such a great hidden gem! Food was amazing and my wife even loved the dessert, and she doesn’t normally eat it! They guy who was serving us was really good with telling us about the meats and the fish on the day! Wine’s was just delicious! Will be back here again!

Gorgeous restaurant but that was about it unfortunately. We got rained on. 40 minutes after ordering we were told our order got lost and we’d have to order again. No apology in any way for that. Was not checked upon when food did arrive otherwise we would’ve told them a dish was missing. Server did finally check on us as we were eating a very underwhelming pork dish but only to ask if we were going to have dessert because the kitchen was already closing. Gave feedback at the end after paying and they didn’t seem to care too much. Disappointing. Pricey too. A soft 2.5.

So to start with the space itself is lovely. Great aesthetics for sure, and a nice spot I’d say in future to have drinks on a weekend afternoon but I wouldn’t bother with the menu again in future. It looks like the food at the previous restaurant was better. Though everything was presented well it was lacklustre, enough to feel annoyed and eat something else later in the evening.

Music was too loud to have a conversation, I booked online with a credit card advising of an 83rd birthday, no mention of it upon arrival, my interstate daughter called to speak to staff about paying for a bottle of wine to celebrate her grandmother but it was declined as staff member said it was not possible, we were not advised accurately on food selection/ quantity and consequently over ordered the ( very large) whole chicken and fish after the initial mezes. We were a bit shocked that staff wouldn’t pack up the remaining chicken pieces ( for my dad who couldn’t attend.) Very dismissive and not very attentive staff, limited food menu, larger drinks menu of expensive wines, very expensive all up. The whole chicken wasn’t cooked properly as there was visible blood around the bone. Wouldn’t go back…have worked for years as a VIP Gaming Host in the Pearl Room, for Crown Perth, and have decades of five star customer service skills so am disappointed to be on the receiving end. No old favourites at all.

We had a lovely night here, food was good and our waiter was lovely. However we’ve had issues with the $60 no show charge as we booked for the Saturday but received no confirmation of this, our booking wasn’t on their system but they managed to fit us in. After this however the $60 was taken from my bank account. We had to eventually go into the restaurant after numerous calls with no answer. The manager was very helpful and explained what had happened, he gave us an email to contact and his name to help us out. I have been emailing for over a month now and after some very slow replies, gave my bank details for the refund a month ago and the money has still not come back to me. I’ve tried calling and emailed again and heard nothing from the restaurant. I’m very disappointed at the lack of communication after a seemingly good night out. With the extra $60 charge it was a very expensive night :///
