During my recent visit to LA CONDESA, I encountered both commendable highlights and areas for improvement. The 12-hour beef short rib chimichurri, while exhibiting an impressive depth of flavor, was unfortunately marred by its serving temperature. The Fish collar, regrettably, possessed an overly prominent fishy aroma, detracting from the overall dining experience. Conversely, the Tequila drink with Swiss brown mushrooms proved to be an exemplary blend of flavors, and I must particularly extol the merits of the Chocolate chilli mousse—a dessert of exceptional quality. Furthermore, I would be remiss not to mention the commendable professionalism and courteousness displayed by the staff. While the culinary journey presented some inconsistencies, I anticipate a refined experience during subsequent visits.

We absolutely loved this place. After I accidentally booked a restaurant of the same name in Texas, the host graciously found us a wonderful table very quickly. We loved the cocktails and the service. The food was really impressive in taste, order plenty of tacos if you’re really hungry. Our favourite was the beef short ribs as a main. Absolutely lovely!

We were really looking forward to our meal here – the food wasn’t bad but it wasn’t as good as we thought it would be. The waitstaff are incredibly friendly and the location is convenient with ample parking. The restaurant itself is spacious and quite well appointed. There’s a good selection of dishes on the menu – we tried a couple and in general they were ok, nothing too stand out. Unfortunately the prawn was mushy and not cooked well which is a pity because the sauce was actually not too bad. In general Ive had better Mexican in Perth for the same price, but it’s worth a shot if you want to try something new!

Check what the servings are. We were told it was all single serves and ordered 3 of each for 3 people. Serving came out as 3 servings of 3. So way too much food. All good, I’ll take home whatever doesn’t get eaten. Can we get it in a container for later. To be told, we don’t offer that service here.

While the food was great, the restaurant does not offer a box for leftovers. We often order a bit extra because the leftovers are good for lunch the next day. Our server informed us they don’t offer boxing services so we ended up wrapping the leftovers in napkins. At over $150 for the meal, a disappointing end to it.

Condesa is a wonderful restaurant with lovely and helpful staff. Ari was a competent and polite manager. The food, drinks and service were wonderful. I particularly liked the Dragon Fruit Rambo Samba and the Peachy Spritz cocktails. Will definitely be returning!
