Yayoi World Square is a smaller version of the restaurant located in Galleries. At times this restaurant may require a little bit of a wait. I noticed that they now open half an hour earlier than previously. They now open at 1130am. Service was prompt. Ordering occurs off an iPad. Food was great.

Big portions for a really good price. Great place to go if you’re looking for a casual dining spot. Ordering is done on a tablet at each table, and there are also lots of spots for single people. Food was yum

I had an amazing dining experience! The food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. The sushi was fresh and flavorful, and the unagi was rich and satisfying. The staff was attentive and friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere. I can’t wait to come back and explore more of their menu. Highly recommended

Came here for brunch last week Monday (public holiday). I’ve ordered one of their set meal – Unagi Hitsumabushi (Rice topped with grilled eel).

I rarely post negative reviews but this is not hit and miss. More like a repeat offender or wild child being the victim wicked one in the Yayoi family. Ordered Katsu set: The pork chops shrivelled and tiny, felt like it was fried, microwaved and reheated at the last minute on the grill…why would you grill deep fried katsu a second time? The shellfish miso soup was diluted with hot water, we all know what a good miso taste like, this one had one or two extra cups of water. Even the rice, like you can’t get good boiled sushi grade rice wrong, but wait, yes you can, it felt like sticky rice and over cooked. The inconsistency between this and previous hit and misses at world square really pulls down the impressionable brand. Have not had similar problems at Galleria.

overall the food was ok, but the sashimi was poorly made, it was not prepared correctly, the cut was too close to the skin, leaving a bad taste and a hard texture. if you’re in a hurry, it’s worth it, quick service.

The food here tastes pretty normal, like something you’d make at home. No wow factor, but a safe choice.

This ravishing young man absolutely caught my eye. He was tall, handsome, and very hardworking. I asked for his name and I think it was Ken.
