Such a gem hidden places, This is one of best local cafe in Yarra Glen you can not missed it. Cafes in and out so colorful shops around with a pretty gardens. Friendly staffs and coffees great and massive tastey food. Nacho oven style is one of best, Try it out!

This place is fine. Staff were friendly. However, service was a little slow (I’ll give the benefit of the doubt as that was just due to being busy). The building has its charm, but the menu is a little old fashioned for my liking and nothing was particularly eye-catching. The food itself wasn’t incredible – I wasn’t a huge fan of the margarine on the chicken burger. It really reminded me of cafes from 20 years ago but we had a nice afternoon. It might just be that the target market would be an older customer base rather than a younger “brunch-going” crowd, so perhaps this place just isn’t aimed at someone like me.

SUPER friendly service, a gorgeous fireplace in the dining room, beautiful ambiance paired with excellent scones and devonshire cream! Highly recommended and we will be back!

It is a cosy looking place and I have dined here previously and it was very pleasant. However last Monday on Kings Birthday weekend I was shocked by the poor service. We sat at the table and no one came so I went up to the counter at the front room. Seeing there were only sweets in display I asked if they had any savouries and the attendant sent me to the Bakery shop. When I went there the Bakery was closed. I returned to the Cafe and sat down thinking I’ll just get a coffee. However after 10 minutes no one came to take an order so we just left. I also noticed another 3 people who came at the same time we’re leaving also. Hopefully this was only a bad day and is not a sign of things to come .

We enjoyed a late Mothers Day luncheon out on the verandah at Yarra Glen Cafe and Store. Big ticks for being dog friendly. But the biggest of ticks goes to the 12 hour cook on the pulled pork burger with its crisp fresh apple slaw. Yum and more yum. He raved about the smoked trout frittata with another freshly picked salad. It’s a definite stopover next time we are in the neighbourhood.
