Beautiful Japanese restaurant. Great place for a late meal, drinks, and karaoke. The food was excellent, we really enjoyed the chicken karaage, ton katsu, buta kakuni, hokke fish, tofu salad, etc. Fantastic service. The owner was great! Friendly and accommodating. I have eaten here several times, although there are not so many options for dishes.But every dish is exquisite and delicious. The grilled fish is very delicious, and the boss taught me how to remove the fish bones in one go. An excellent choice for dinner and supper in Cairns.

Went there for dinner. The Sashimi practically melted in my mouth. How is that even possible? Expert Sushi chef I expect. The Ramin with roast pork was really very good as well, with the pork not overly fatty. Broth not overloaded with salt. Just right. Japanese beer on tap and icy cold. The menu has more variety than the average Japanese Restaurant I think, so everyone will find something they like for sure. We had 4 dishes and an entree shared amongst 3 people and we were full. The restaurant is in the CBD, but mercifully far enough away from the Night Market so that parking isn’t a game of cat and mouse so you spend your time in the restaurant not hustling for a car park.

Delicious! Liked the ambiance food and price of this place. I had a very nice gintonic for only 8,50. The gyōzas were a bit bland, though everything else was super tasteful. Sushi portion were a lot bigger than expected and we were warmly welcomed by the Japanese enthusiastic owner. Best place in Cairns for sure.

This a great place with beautiful fresh food. The stand outs were the octopus balls and the eggplant. But all food was well prepared and delicious. Staff were friendly and accomodating. I will definitely go back.

Try the excellent miso soup, followed by an agedashi tofu, with an eggplant miso. We had a sushi platter, with tuna, salmon, cuttlefish, tamago, prawn, and grilled schnapper. Add a Sapporo beer and you have a nice japanese dinner in the heart of Cairns. Only seven months old, this one is still finding its feet. So should improve.
