The food was really not up to the standard you pay for. $175 for a seafood platter for 2 was very disappointing. Fish was overcooked and sauce split. We …

My husband and I both enjoyed our meals. Entree, mains and dessert were all delicious. We will definitely come back.

Absolutely delicious. We really enjoyed the calamari and scallop entrees, the snapper main was also very yummy. Staff were polite and friendly despite the heat! Would go back again.

Wow. What a fabulous dinner. We had a seafood platter for three. It was enormous and well worth the $100 a head We could not finish it. Everything on the platter was delicious. This has to be the best restaurant in Port Douglas I have ever eaten in and I have been here 5 times. Sorry Nautilus but this place is now number one.

Outstanding. Went here twice on our trip. Moreton Bay Bugs incredible. Same with Tiger Prawns, Wagyu beef and Lamb Loin. Highly recommend.

Where to begin, the food was hands down the best meal I have ever had at Port Douglas. The service was exceptional from the young man who placed our reservation, to the lady who swerved us all night. We enjoyed our meal and evening so much, that we booked to come back 2 nights later to celebrate my mums 73rd birthday as she hasn’t stopped talking about how good the barramundi was. Couldn’t recommend this restaurant enough.

We saved this up for our last dinner for our 7 day vacation. The staff and hospitality was incredible, knowledgeable and easy going. We devoured the Hot & Cold Seafood Platter for 2, just so blessed to be amongst the local produce and to be cooked and prepared with all the care. Thank you so much for having us W&R we will be back!

I had booked this restaurant for a special occasion while on holiday in Port Douglas. When we arrived, we were seated at a table that had a view of the kitchen sink and rubbish bins. I politely asked if there were other tables for two available that we could be moved to (I could see that there were). The waiter refused to check, so we remained there.

We had a lovely dinner dinner at Wrasse & Roe with the calamari and scallops as entrees. Tasty and well cooked. We had the whole barramundi, saffron risotto and seafood marinara for our mains and of the three, the marinara was our favourite, super tasty and full of seafood. The barramundi looked impressive but the sauce was a little overpowering and fish cooked a little too much. The risotto was nice but did lack a little flavour. The service was great and the ambiance was lovely, definitely worth a visit.

A lovely meal again, and I particularly love the scallops (entree), and the deconstructed citrus tart. But all the desserts are great and to be recommended and my husband enjoyed the seafood marinara and the bread! I’d asked for the front corner table as my husband is deaf, and this was arranged, and for the same reason we came early as it’s peak season and all tables get filled and the noise level goes up. But you have a great outlook at the front. And lovely service also.
