A hidden gem in South banks’ food court . Visited VPR yesterday to get a quick salad to take back to work. The staff was extremely helpful in helping me pick out something that would match my preferences. I know, salad at a Vietnamese restaurant… But it was amazing. Warm chicken with greens was a win in my book. I’m definitely going to make this a regular lunch option and try out more options on their Menu. Their servings are generous and they were very liberal with the chicken. The recommended options are Chicken Satay and Vietnamese fried rice.

The food is great for the price and they have a decent amount of vegetarian options which is a plus for me! Really friendly and quick customer service and you can order in advance by calling ahead for pick up. The place is located next to the Commbank atm and it’s just upstairs. Really cool spot. I also forgot to take a picture of my own veggie pho but it was delicious with straw mushrooms, tofu, and chickpeas. Would eat again!

The rice noodle salad with half chicken and half spring rolls looked so good that I forgot to take a photo and attacked my food. I took a photo of the receipt to proove I did eat there but they had the wrong dish on the receipt ha ha… Must try the place.

One of my favourite Vietnamese places in Melbourne. The lemongrass pork on rice is my favourite dish and great value for money and good portion sizes. When still working in the office at Southbank I would visit here once a week. Whenever I pop back into the office I make time to come here for lunch again. Up some stairs this gem is a must visit.
