Had ordered vegetarian fried rice. Omg, tastes bad ……is this fried rice?? tasteless, no egg or mushroom. It cost $15.80. Are you kidding?? …. Prefer cook at home and NEVER come again

What happened to this place?? Used to be clean, friendly & a great vibe. Now the place is dirty, toilets are filthy, windows & doors were filthy too. The decor could also use and update with ripped vinyl on the seats. The food was nice but the rainbow beef wasn’t what it used to be. Seemed dry & vinegary, instead of tender & sweet. Really disappointing to see this place decline. Used to be one of our fave places. I’ll pass next time.

Very nice restaurant, absolutely loved the special fried rice! The place lives upto it’s name with great dumplings, we had the prawn and pork dumplings and they tasted great! The garlic prawns were also really good, nice fresh prawns with not too much garlic. Fried Dim Sims were ok. The only thing we didn’t really enjoy was the sweet and sour pork, not the typical dish that you would get from a Chinese restaurant.

Excellent experience here! Great little spot off Beaumont street offering brilliant dumplings, as the name suggests, on top of a great noodle and assorted Chinese selection. Affordable prices, nice service, worth a try if you’re in the area and looking for some great Asian cuisine.

Thoroughly enjoyed this experience. Our party consisted of 7 people, meals came out quite fast…10min. Food was delicious. Price was reasonable. Menu has a lot of choice. Parking was in the street. Its not an upmarket type of restuarant but the it’s atmosphere was nice. I will be going back.

The staffs were friendly, the shef is kind and excellent, the tastes like south of China, the Peking beef is a little bit lost standard, veg dumpling wrapper is dry, and the table was not clean enough, anyway it is a good Chinese restaurant in Au.

I’ve been coming here for years and ordering the same thing, Rainbow Beef Usually so amazing and crunchy and covered in plumb sauce. Yummy. Tonight however everything about the dish has changed. No longer sweet but tangy and reeking of vinegar!?!? I went back in to see if a mistake had been made and to try to resolve the issue. Asking if they maybe have new owners or a new chef. They simply barked back at me, “no, this is the rainbow beef” again I tried to explanythe dish did not taste right at all and was met with, “This is the rainbow beef” All questions where ignored and I ended up getting a refund. While all this was happening my rice and dumplings went cold, so it’s a very dismal affair for dinner tonight.

Bloody good food! Small restaurant, great service and delicious food, what more can you ask for. Always order too much food when I come here, but it’s just so good. Make sure you try any of the fried dumplings, also if you have the crispy chicken you simply must dip it in the sauce provided and be aware of the pork pancake dish, very big serve, the waitress even warned us before we ordered, we were all very full after this meal.

When I visited a couple of years ago this place was fantastic but tonight’s order was almost inedible. Food took forever to be made and staff were quite abrupt and rude, even on a relatively quiet evening, everything we ordered (pancakes, chicken wings, stir-fried noodles and dumplings) were literally dripping with oil and the dumplings were thick and doughy. I’m usually not one to leave a bad review but I was so disappointed in this meal. Would not recommend.
