Stopped for dinner as we were travelling. Food was excellent, steak was cooked perfectly. Meals were very generously sized and absolutely delicious. The staff couldn’t have been friendlier and all service was excellent. Would happily return – it’s a great spot.

They forgot to bring us our drinks, which sat at the bar while the ice melted and diluted our cocktails. They told us there was a 40min wait for food, which we accepted. The food arrived in 1hr, my calamari rings was over fried, looked more brown than golden. No apologies for the drinks or the wait on the food. Don’t come here expecting big city service.

Met some friends here for drinks and dinner on a Thursday night. As it was my first time to Grafton, I was pleased my friends picked this hotel as it was located just across the road from the park where the trees were lit up at night for the Jacaranda Festival. For dinner I had the Mango and Avocado Salad with Prawn Twisters. I asked for the dressing on the side as it had coriander in it, but I couldn’t even taste it in it so actually enjoyed the flavour. The twisters were a tad cold, but not enough to ruin the meal. Good, busy atmosphere in the pub even though it was a weeknight

Very old establishment. Steak sandwich was relatively expensive and meat was grisly. The verandah is not conducive to being shared by two separate larger gatherings which wanted speeches to be heard. Staff were friendly and efficient.

I have visited this pub for many years as i like the location setting of where it is, on the corner across from See park, they have always done nice food, drinks and atmosphere, though i noticed the last time i was there the Lunch time specials had gone up to $17 with very limited choice of meal, i always made it part of my day when in town to have lunch there but its just getting too unaffordable now, if theres 2 of you, by time you get a drink that $50! sadly i think i will be seeking analternative lunch venue from here on.

After watching the jacaranda I was thirsty and found here to have a cup of coffee. The environment is beautiful. You can sit outside and enjoy the flowers. The coffee tastes good, but it is not hot enough.
