We’re not typically big Italian food lovers but this restaurant (and chain) is probably one of the closest to what we experienced in Italy. The pizza bases are very thin (just like how it is in Italy) but the crust is so nice and doughy – great to dip into sauces. Mussels as an entree option was a huge portion (enough for mains!). Really appreciate the kids menu and even the kids pizzas were huge (enough for 2 kids easily). They had a special pasta on the menu today, couldn’t recall the name but it was a thinly sliced pasta cooked extremely well Al Dante style – absolutely so tasty! The waiters were all really attentive especially the older gentleman who enquired after our little one a number of times.

Had an awesome Italian feast tonight. Started with the arancini (washed it down with San Pellegrino). Followed this with marinated red capsicums and burrata (that was divine).

We had a lovely lunch the other day for my mum’s birthday as I was recently in Naples and missed her birthday. I wanted to have a Neapolitan pizza and so we came to Via Napoli. Everything was fantastic, and to make my mum’s day we got to meet and chat with Luigi himself. What a friendly guy! We will visit the Surry Hills venue soon to have a pizza fritta which will bring my mum back home to her hometown of Naples I’m sure. Highly recommend you try it, we will be back

Excellent pizzas if you’re on the North Shore. Also tried some other dishes but the pizzas are clearly the stand out. Staff are very attentive and accomodating too. Recommended.

Have been here twice for their 1m pizza. First time we had no issues but the second time was not a good experience. The flavour on the margherita and burratina was pretty good. However, would not recommend the vesuvio as it was extremely salty and hard to eat without drinking lots of water.

One of the most authentic Italian restaurants I have ever been. Every food of Via Napoli is fairly delicious, however I’m a fan of their meter long pizza and gnocchi. The pizza base is incredibly soft and we can choose the toppings as half-half as per our choice. The vibe of the restaurant is amazing too. It’s mostly busy in the evenings and on weekends. The staff are very nice and friendly.

The quality of the pizza has definitely declined. Toppings have been reduced drastically despite the increase in prices. (They even add a service charge for pick-up orders on Sundays)
