Traditional homestyle Thai with a focus on fresh, healthy and abundant. We have a couple of western favourite dishes too, delicious home cooked desserts and a separate kids menu. Set on the deck above the beautiful Byron Golf Clubs 19th hole; enjoy a perfect sunset vista outside and maybe later move inside to our stylish restaurant – candlelit and tropical with music from the likes of Costes, Buddha Bar and Cafe del Mar. For now we offer Counter Service only and on quiet nights we will close the kitchen early if we don’t have patrons or bookings to warrant remaining open. Please call us to check.

Best Thai food in Byron. Had an enticing menu and found it hard to choose. Had dinner with 2 friends and decided to try an array of food to share. The unanimous favourite was the vegan red vegetable curry but the green papaya salad was a very close 2nd. Absolutely recommend Vegan/vegetarians try this place. Well priced and friendly staff.

I recently helped organise af function for over 100 people and we chose Tuk Tuk at the Byron Golf Club. It was the perfect choice!! The venue is gorgeous with a fabulous sunset on the deck. The food was outstanding!!! Absolutely delicious, full of flavour and generous portions. The 2 for 1 promotion made it very affordable. Everyone had a fabulous night and we’re all raving about the food.

Tuk Tuk Thai catered for my 60th Birthday at the Byron Bay Golf Club recently, and Wow did they do a great job. They organised the menu well in advance with care taken for what I wanted. The food started with Antipasto table to die for, cheese on top of cheese and all the accouterments, including meats, crudite dips and breads. Followed by Hors d’oeuvres with very tasty dipping sauces, all Asian inspired. A big bell call rang out, to invite guests up for Curry Bar, all in big terrines flowed with garnishes of extra chilli, corriander leaves and nuts just to finish you off. But wait there is the cake, OMG it was big and bold with chocolate shards and sugared orange rings to enhance a juicy tasty Orange Almond cake, all made in house, these guys really capped of a great night all round.

We recently had our school reunion at The Byron bay Golf Club catered by Simon and Jo from Tuk Tuk restaurant and Eat Drink Catering. From the start Simon and Jo were so easy to deal with and nothing was a problem for them. They created a menu to our budget and the food quality, quantity and service on the night was absolutely sensational. I would highly recommend them to cater for any event.

Ordered uber eats from this place during our stay at Byron. Spent quite a bit of money on tasteless bland food. I called at 7:50pm to speak to someone but went straight to voice mail even tho they’re supposed to shut at 8:30pm. Serving size was big but food went in the bin. Extremely disappointed
