We ate at Thai Lucy after experiencing decision paralysis on where to have dinner. In the end our decision making was not sound as it was a very average meal (it may very well he adequate for beach town standards however as it was packed every time we went by). It’s a very small space and I liked the interiors but the pad see ew lacked flavour and as you can see from the photos neither of the dishes were particularly inspired.

Absolutely delicious food. What a little gem in Byron this place was. We ended up returning on consecutive nights. Loved the laksa, chicken skewers with peanut sauce and pad Thai. Yum

Unbelievable service and food! My partner and I came in on a Sunday long weekend, at around 8pm, after originally being turned away, the manager came out and insisted we sit down and eat. The food came out very fast, and was incredibly tasty. I had the red curry with rice, it was a huge portion size and very delicious. My partner had the Tom Yum soup with rice noodles, and it tasted amazing. Definitely recommend to anyone in Byron Bay. Will definitely be going back there. Also they do BYO alcohol here, so bring your own wine or beers for an even better dining experience.

Stumbled into this place in a laneway in Byron. The place was buzzing, as were the other neighbouring restaurants. We grabbed a table as someone just left and it was cleared quickly from the previous dishes. The staff were super busy which may have contributed to the average service. No niceities, just order and get it done. Fair enough. Food was awesome, we had chicken satay skewers, spring rolls and a vegetarian green curry. All were top notch and super tasty. Good size portions and the rice in particular was very generous. Would definitely return and work my way through the extensive menu. Great place.

If you are looking for the most disappointing dinner of your life, this is the place for you!!! Couldn’t even eat the food. The owner also rolled her eyes and poked her tongue at me which was an added bonus

This Thai was once exceptional however it has really slipped in quality, quantity and service.

This Thai restaurant is underrated. I think its the best of all in Byron Bay. Food was my primary focus. I have tried most thai in there. Some are terrible and over rated, even the top looking services. Service and hospitality is excellent in Thai Lucy. Most places cheat you.

Food was nice and authentic but even after asking them for hot, it was very mild and the serving size is small

Catered more for the Western flavour rather than being authentic Thai.
