A rare taste of Italy in Victor Harbor. The moment you walk through the door you know your in for a truly romantic Italian dining experience – quality and atmosphere with red decor, candles on every table with silverware, paintings on the walls, soft music and a Italian motorcycle here and there. There’s no fast food or annoying takeaway here – just an excellent choice of authentic Italian food and local wines at very competitive prices, and seating comfortable for couples or families. Food was fresh, tasty and juicy and generous in size and served promptly. Great customer service from Luigi and the friendly professional staff, and overall the premises was very clean. Highly recommend the bruschetta for entree, the linguine scoglio or vegetarian penne for mains, the tiramisu for dessert and the house merlot. A truly authentic Italian experience – ‘Bravo Luigi and staff’

Absolutely Absolutely recommend this place!!!! The owner, Luigi is a wonderful and kind human being and his food is sensational. I had the Arancini, Bruschetta, Tagliatelle Della Nonna and Bistecca Alla Pizzaiola on different dinner occasions and the food was finger licking good. Will always be the first place I’ll visit whenever I go to Victor Harbor. Make sure to stop by his place and his food and quirks will never fail to impress. Thanks Luigi for the wonderful food and experiences.

If you’re cold and hungry, come in and get your hearts and stomachs filled. That’s what Trattoria Lungomare did for us. Very good service. Please have the handmade Ravioli. It’s too good! Leave some room for dessert. The Tiramisu is fresh, creamy but light. We were very full but still found this to be delicious 🙂

Lungomare is a ‘must visit’ in Victor Harbor. Authentic Italian cuisine that is both tasty and satisfying. Several good quality Italian wines available by the glass (try the Nero d’Avola) and some excellent examples by the bottle; which all complement the food superbly. Luigi is a wonderful host and is always happy to recommend dishes and house specialties. In times when we can’t travel, it feels like Italy has come to us, particularly the polenta, the fresh caught fish, home made gnocchi, the baccala and the ragu. The ice cream cart and Vespa add another Italian touch and the views out to Granite Island complete the experience.
