Holy moly what a time warp. This would have been great in 1984. But not in 2023. Times have changed. So have standards of service, decor, and quality of meals! Not here though. Average to poor at best. Pizza, gnocchi and steak were all best avoided.

Over all I loved the food and the atmosphere one thing I noticed was when you approach the bar they have a floor board that’s broken bad and they just covered it with a rug table 34 was wobbly we had the spaghetti polo Bianco it was good a little try and needed more meat but definitely 5 star dish I liked it staff are kind and helpful just run off the poor feet’s tho very respectful pricing

The problem with plebeian-style Google reviewing is that most people enjoy regular, ordinary, run-of-the-mill pursuits in life, and don’t enjoy cognitively dissonant originality and nuance. And so it goes … with Caffe Belgiorno, which serves impersonal and uncaring mush with aplomb. Eye fillet that looked and felt like tongue, seafood sauce of measly shrimp, with scant fries and four limp spinach bits. Two of three local wines were “sorry, we’ve run out” from the, basically, self-serve bar. Sure, lots of people feel comforted by things staying in 1982. I was a 7yo then. But I think I’ve grown up now, and want something much better, and I know it’s available. I regret that I made this mistake for me and my family. Take your money to the supermarket tonight. Get yourself some Latina and a Dolmio, go home to your microwave, and save your money for the team at Confession tomorrow.

We all really really enjoyed our means here. They added cheese to the herb and garlic bread and our daughter who is extremely fussy ate every mouthful of it. The BBQ pizzas delicious, the BBQ chicken calzone with there magical cream BBQ sauce- to die for, I want the recipe. I think it’s the first time in history the 5 of us didn’t leave 1 crumb on the plates. Staff are super friendly.

Ate here a few times while working Mount Gambier. Had several great meals, Oven baked salmon was my favourite, fillet ? (Steak with Seafood ) pictured, there are good Non Pasta or Pizza options (I don’t do wheat). Beautiful old exposed timber of the building creates a unique atmosphere, friendly and super efficient staff. Only complaint was no table service.
