Been here twice. And have been craving their laksa. A true Malaysian will say nothing beats laksa from the street stalls in Penang. However, this comes close. It’s much better than some cafes south side.

If you haven’t been here you MUST try it. Their laksa is the best I’ve tried Northside of Brisbane. Consistently good, the flavours are amazing and the portion sizing decent. I love it here. Only criticism I have is that the wait staff need to get out front more to clean the tables. The entire 7/8 tables out front were dirty with only back seating available. I had to ask the lady to cleans a table. And it looks really dirty like that but other than that small mishap this place is yummy and affordable.

Portion sizing for the Pho is ridiculously small and the usual condiments of basil and bean sprouts is almost non-existant. The soup doesn’t taste like it’s cooked long enough and the price is far too high. I won’t be eating here again.

Waited half hour for Pho, went to counter to be told they had lost all the orders. No one came out to tell us, there was no apology and no offer to refund when I advised I had to go back to work. I tried to talk to the manager but the girl I spoke to wouldn’t meet my eyes and kept talking to people that rushed passed her in and out of the kitchen. I left in disgust with no lunch and $10 lighter in the pocket. If someone could open a Vietnamese place in North Lakes who gives a damn and makes good Pho, they will make a killing.

Unlike my wife I am not a big fan of Asian food, I have enjoyed the sweet and sour vegetarian meal apart from the stale bread roll We have received. Despite the not adequately cleaned table our experience was enjoyable and the food came out timely.
