Had dinner here a few days ago, scallops and fried whole fish were amazing. However, I wish Tom yum could have more flavour as it was bland. Staff was great and attentive.

It’s with a heavy heart I give a not good review, we dined here the last time we were on holidays 1yr ago & when we were heading back to Sunny Coast for our Anniv, this was my 1st choice to dine, but tonight our dinner was anything like 12mths ago…it was very busy when we arrived at 615pm, but were seated promptly, our waiter returned quite quickly to take our order, didn’t really have enough time to look menu over, but was ok with this, so we ordered..The Crab Claws (only 2) were moist, crisp on outside & tasty, my partners chicken roti was cold, so we had to ask to have it reheated, then came out from microwave scorching HOT & soggy. Our mains arrived in quite quick time compared to how busy they were, but once again left very disappointed..the Pad Thai was swimming in overpowering sauce, noodles gluggy soggy clumped tgther, the tofu was tiny small rubbery pieces & it had no freshness with coriandar or fresh crushed nuts for garnish, crispy pork belly with cashews & broccoli was a decent amt of pork but that’s where it ended, again very disappointing with freshness, broccoli was quite overcooked & very small pieces, the beef fried rice was the saving meal..just such a shame to be looking forward to dining here for our special occasion but left very very underwhelmed & paying $120+

Best red duck pineapple curry! Thank you amazing head chef. Great atmosphere, very attentive service by all staff. Thank you for accommodating 2 local ladies who loved a chat so much that we were last to leave but not made to feel hurried out the door. Amazing Thai in Mooloolaba, thank you, we always come back.

Delicious food, came here for an anniversary meal… well worth it. One of the best meals in Mooloolaba and the Thai seafood dishes were just beautifully spiced. Great service and perfect location, as one street back from the busy waterfront which has some good places, but all very similar. Highly recommended, and it’s very busy with locals too.

After taking 3 adult children who are very fussy eaters, they all said their meal was the best they had tasted. Highly recommend Ton Khao Bistro. The food is amazing and the staff are all smiles. Can’t wait to go back.

This is our third meal here. The first 2 were excellent but tonight was a disappointment sadly. I had stir fry with oyster sauce with chicken. The chicken had obviously been precooked and when mixed with the cooked veges. The chicken was cold and tough. Flavors and veges were good but couldn’t finish the chicken. My partner had sweet and sour stir fry with beef. Veges and flavors were good but beef was overcooked and tough and chewy. A great disappointment after the other 2 meals we had.

Pleasant staff and nice vibe. Duck curry was ok but was precooked and not quite warmed up to same temperature as the veg and sauce. They don’t split bills which created a long queue (15min) while a table had to order and prepay for individual orders. Totally unnecessary with SQUARE technology where splitting bills is simple and taking orders/payments at the table is easily achievable without impacting other customers instead of bottlenecking the main register.
