Our name comes from where our little restaurant is found; the corner of Tindale and Woodriff streets. John Tindale and Captain Daniel Woodriff were two important people in the history of this ever evolving town.
I mean, who wouldn’t love a family where “The Riff” is part their name.

Restaurant had a great vibe, the service was amazing and the food came out quickly! We got the pesto pasta and chicken pizza both really good! Pesto pasta was probably one of the best i have had in while and portion was good too. We left very satisfied and will definitely be back !

Last night my partner picked this place to eat at for date night. He ordered the Spaghetti with Meatballs and he absolutely loved everything about it. I ordered the Fettuccine Maree Monti and I have to say that’s my favourite pasta I’ve had while eating out. Garlic pizza and Lemon, lime and bitters was great. For dessert we got the Tiramisu, and 2 other dishes that I’m unsure of the name of (but will put photos up). Customer service was top tier even after having a mix up with our order. Everything was fixed fast and appropriately, forgot to get the name of the wonderful lady that was on shift but she was amazing. Making us feel comfortable and making sure we were satisfied with everything we had.

We had a lovely dinner at Tins and Wood. The place was crowded on a Sunday evening, but the service was prompt and friendly. We had the Lemon Pepper Fried Squid, Tins and Wood Special gourmet pasta and Veal Gamberi. All the food was delicious and the hazelnut ice cream for dessert was just divine.

Amazing Service. The waitress provided popular recommendations and was very friendly and helpful. The kitchen staff appeared happy and we didn’t have to wait long for the food. I made a reservation for 2 people at 6 pm on a Thursday. It wasn’t crowded when we arrived but I would recommend booking ahead for a later time.

Went there for dinner. Very busy little restaurant. Food was lovely. Large portions all round. Wait staff told us our food would be delayed and they gave us a free garlic pizza to make up for it while we waited for our orders.
