Wow! What a lovely venue. The food was sensational table wide with all our guests loving the freshness and flavours of the meals. The service was great and staff were all lovely including the owner who came and chatted with us for quite some time at the end of our dining experience. Highly recommend the Tides restaurant.

Waiters/staff are very friendly, and nice little restaurant. It was a bit busy when we went for dinner, booked in at 7pm but got there at 6:30pm, we left at 8:30pm but this was with cancelling dessert as the wait time was just too long and by the time we got our main meal we were pretty tired so didn’t stick around to wait for dessert but that’s fine bcs there was a nice selection of appetisers. The food was nice and hot upon serving and a nice selection of cocktails

There is a new Wine Bar in town, under Tide’s Waterfront Dining call The Celler. It is owned by the owners of Tide’s and I was very pleased to be invited to its opening on Feb 1st 2023. Great location fabulous wine & beer list, with wonderful staff. This is just what our town needs for those of us who are looking for somewhere to sit and have a quiet drink and listen to pleasant piano music playing in the background. Highly recommended.

We visited Tides for the first time. We ordered the lunch time special. Calamari, beer battered fish and poached pear for dessert. The servings were generous, well cooked and tasted great. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Cant wait to go back.

Always good going to Tides – good location, good water views and good service – the Manager is always cheerful and entertaining. However, I don’t support the process of when paying for your meal by eftpos, a request for a tip automatically appears on the screen. I don’t support this as staff are paid well in Australia compared to other countries and this pop-up tip request really drove me crazy while travelling through American and Canada. I gave a tip but won’t the next time.
