How do you answer that?
For starters, we know how to make a piccolo and we know what a magic is. We’ve been here since 2009 and we’re still having fun. We’ve made over a million coffees and at one time we held the Guiness World Record for most cappuccinos made in 1 hour. We’ve served famous actor’s, musicians,
sports stars and politicians but mostly we serve our amazing community; locals and visitors.
If you look inside you’ll probably see a goofy guy behind counter who’s having too much fun. Thats me, Jono. Ive been here nearly everyday since we started. So please come inside and say hi.

I think it’s one of the best coffee in Hobart. It’s really good! It’s right in the middle of the city so you can enjoy the morning vibe of Hobart downtown while sipping the coffee.

Wow, what a fantastic place. We are on holidays and this is right by our hotel so came in yesterday for breakfast, and had the best Bacon, Cheese & Egg Roll ever! So good. Came back the next day, and they knew our drinks order without asking. Excellent coffee and perfect proper leaf tea, so good! Bircher Muesli this time was excellent also! 12/10 will come back!!!

At the top of the bus interchange, directly across from Franklin Square and the beautiful sandstone GPO off to the left. The Stagg City Cafe has the best outlook of any establishment in Hobart. Inside is clean & minimalist, in a satisfying way with large windows. Food & coffee are great as is the service. The witty blackboard outside is a bonus!

Great little place run by Sam with loads of maps ️ and a giant atlas, which our son loved. One of the only coffee ☕places open super early in the morning with fast moving queues of loyal customers. We tried the bacon & egg roll. The bread was perfect and the sauces great, in particular the red pepper relish. The only downside for us was that the egg was scrambled, which overfilled the roll, totally a personal preference though
