Interesting small stall with dining avail out by the road side. Chairs avail to sit while u wait to be called. They have grill too. Not just battered or crumbed. Sauces avail for u to pour non charging when u dine in. Salad avail too

I know the reviews are all great and some days it can be but it’s super inconsistent. We had a grilled fish this evening. It was tiny portions that were so over cooked as to be inedible. One of the pieces tasted nice enough and the other just wasn’t as fresh or at least tasted different. Pic is of 2 portions of grilled fish on the same plate after we came home.

Stopped here while visiting from Sydney. Chips and calamari were excellent. I was impressed by the selection of fresh fish and would have loved to have tried some. Will definitely stop here again when I’m visiting next.

I can see why Darrons Seafood gets so many excellent reviews. It’s definitely worth the drive up from Terrigal Beach to get much better seafood, that is good value too.

Called to order dinner for my kids. We order at Darren’s every week since Monti’s closed. On this occasion the staff member was very rude and told us our order wasn’t possible, she has worked there for years and if I didn’t like it I should get a job there. Other staff in the past have been polite but she was particularly rude. Will question if we return.

Fresh out of the surf at wamberal beach. Headed past darrons to grab lunch on the way home. Been a regular for years but tried the fish burger for the first time. For $11 (which is very fairly priced given the state of the world) you get a massive burger with two large pieces of fish. All the bits and pieces of salad you’d like and a good mayo and sweet chilli sauce. Couldn’t dream up a better burger. Do yourself a favour and give it a go if you haven’t already. Darron knows what the people want. Review x2 as a couple of us agree!
