Super attentive staff made the experience first class. The bar was the perfect waiting point before going to our table. The extensive menu of exquisite Seafood and meat was cooked to perfection. Wonderful night had by all.

If you are looking for the Teppenyaki where they throw things, this is not that. What this restaurant is is high quality food, cooked to perfection and a little fire thrown into the mix. It may cost a little more, though it is worth every cent and we had food and drinks. I highly recommend this as somewhere worth going to.

This place is located in a historical house. The lunch was disappointing, food cooking was not authentic Japanese and only 2 stars. The main course was the whole lobster which was very overcooked with too much sauce. The chef Helen was like someone inexperienced straight from the cooking school, and her cooking skills were not up to the standard at the price they charge. We appreciate that the serving staff worked hard to make us feel happier. The 48 hrs no refund cancellation policy was unreasonably harsh given the place wasn’t busy at all times.

Very friendly staff and good atmosphere. And the food is beyond average. We brought the 7 yr old and 7 months baby here and they all settled very well. Would love to come over next time.

It was my first live teppanyaki experience in Sydney and i chose a place which has become a Sydney icon (circa 1992). The live cooking “show” made it a fun experience, unlike the usual boring dinner. We had the Rocks Wagyu Experience ($195pp). My favourite had to be the Flaming No 1 Special (crab salad wrapped in kingfish & flamed with mayo like sauce). While i enjoyed every single dish, for the same price i could get a more interesting set menus at other restaurants. The main reason i gave 4, not 5 stars is the dessert, not exciting enough to complement the experience. I’m still glad to have been here at least once & definitely won’t say no to coming back, just not in a rush anytime soon.

Had a great time at Kobe Jones. This place never fails to impress with a quick show of culinary skills whilst serving dinner. Expect some nice displays of cooking your food with fire. Menu is on the pricey side but definitely a great spot to take clients or impress a date.

Fine dining at its finest. Seated by the lovely staff who were very attentive, welcoming and understanding to our needs. We had the winter wagu menu with wagu upgrade wow blew my mind everything was on point. Stand out dishes though was the cauliflower soup and the wagu steak. Would definitely come again. Thanks guys.

Really nice food. Service was good. However, the atmosphere was not as enjoyable as other teppanyaki restaurants that I have been to. Oh, and just as they started making am our food, a cockroach ran across the table!!!

Honestly such a fantastic experience. The food was really carefully put together and cooked to perfection making me savor each bite blissfully. The decor fit the restaurant with a slightly aged fancy feel – whereas where you’ll be seated will feel simply modern. The chef was very open to questions and the staff were so warm and inviting. 9/10 the experience almost brought us to tears.
