Come here on a whim as it had a good wright up. Looked busy (a good sign) without a reservation they found us a table. Very attentive and friendly staff. The ribs were freshly cooked, not slow cooked which made for a nice change and were top quality to boot. The best ribs I’ve ever had, and I’ve had a few. Craft beers and ales are also a nice touch with staff happy to advise somthing new. Would recommend to anyone in the area. Great all round. Well done.

This place is my favourite place in Mackay. Holy Cow would be an understatement. Huge selection of great craft beers. So much so they even have a folder full for you to choose from. The food is outstanding. The ribs amazing and well presented. Sunday breakfast get the Pulled Pork Eggs Benny! Truly an amazing dish. You can’t walk out of here without being full. Even the burgers needed a Sherpa to tackle them. The staff where very friendly and helpful. I will certainly come back often. Especially to taste the Brisket!

The staff at Paddock were very attentive and friendly, and continuosly returned to our table, which created a great feeling of service. Aside from that, I wasn’t impressed. I thought it was really overpriced for what I got. The beer selection was really good, but too expensive to get more than one or two. The food was what really bothered me. The ($23) chicken burger was somewhat bland and seemed to be made with low qualiy ingredients. I had spent $9.50 earlier that day and got an equally delicious burger with a larger heap of chips. To spend %150 more for dinner and get virtually the same quality food was depressing. Better off buying your own beer and making a sandwich at home.

Went to Paddock for New Years Eve and had a good time! The staff were great, food was good, they were doing share platters which I loved… I just hope next time I go back the $9-11 beers are more reasonably priced at $8 – 10 😉
