Waited 45 minutes after order was taken for breakfast. Was not that busy. Other tables that arrived after us were served and had eaten and left before we even got coffee. Rather than an apology we got stupid excuses that were an insult to our intelligence. Food wasn’t to bad but not good enough to ever put up the bad service again.

Very pleasurable experience from this gem. We dined here for my dad’s birthday. He loves going out for dinner. He views it as a real treat so I was keen to dine out. However my doctor has me on a very strict diet which allows next to nothing to work with. Before I arrived I phoned Elle who I believe is the manager (or at least should be) and she was incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond… and further, to ensure that I was well caterered for. Elle spent time to research on my dietary requirements prior to my arrival and the chefs put together a very tasty and filling meal. The efforts of her and the chefs is unparalleled to service I’ve received in top notch restaurants. I felt completely at ease and was able to enjoy the evening with my family. My parents both thoroughly enjoyed their meals also. Our waitress was new but very friendly and competent considering it was her first day. I’m sure she’ll be a star team member in no time. I Had a measly bit of cash to leave as a tip unfortunately but I’ll be raving about my fantastic experience to all my friends and family and hopefully bring in some extra traffic. An overall fantastic night out thanks to all the team, but especially Elle.

Over priced. Lovely steak and its all down hill from there. We ordered surf and turf $50 plus each. The old frizzled up lobster tail had about 2 teaspoons of meat in it. One asparagus spear, two small pieces of broccoli and one tablespoon of mash potato and a blob of this and that and a swirl of sauce. The veges were all lukewarm. Waitress was lovely.

It’s not a bad restaurant at all. Quite a clean and nice setup they have going and the Menu is decent. Foods are great however, the Nasi Goreng my partner ordered came out a little salty.

My meal was a reasonably priced duck breast that was cooked well and had nice accompaniments, I especially liked the flash fried Brussels sprouts and have since attempted them at home. I was surprised by the extensive wine list and choice of beers.

First coffee sent back as it was served cold? Prawn salad was served complete with shell and heads. So the prawn meat was stuck to the shell skin. Trying to have a nice lunch and having to peel your prawns even before you start. Fries were stone cold. Burger was average smaller sized roll. Won’t be back. Plenty of better cafes in the area.

Very disappointed. Service was slow, food was over priced and bland. The chairs were super uncomfortable. If you want to pay $52 for an average steak with a spoon of meat in your lobster this is the place to go. Meat House Coolalinga has lots my service.
