Came for a hens I organized. We had the high tea with mini cocktails. Food was great, cocktails were okay. Nice atmosphere (just a bit dark where we sat). Difficult to find a street park.

We had booked “The Fancy Tea”which included afternoon tea and a glass of Chandon or Gin & Tonic for $60pp. We arrived and were greeted on time by a gentlemen who checked out booking and escorted us to our seats. He bought us some table water, asked us if we’d like the Chandon or G&T, once we had our glasses of Chandon, my friend noticed there were large lipstick stains on her glass which she hadn’t drunk out of yet, so asked one of the gentlemen for a new glass. Her glass was wiped around the rim and brought back. Gross.

Absolutely stunning venue! The food was divine. We went with a large group of women for a hens party and the majority of the group had the Matriarch high tea and I was very pleasantly accommodated with a vegan high tea which was delicious. Great selection of both cocktails and mock tails along with teas and coffees. Highly recommend!

We loved the atmosphere and had great service. The coffee and cocktails were great, but the food was just fine, with some deserts being not good at all. The amount of food you get the the high tea was perfect, we just wished it tasted as good as it looked.

Came here with my partner and was instantly impressed by the beautiful decor. Staff were very attentive. Dinner was very quiet, we had the al a carte menu, reasonable prices. Salmon was nice, my partner enjoyed his steak though just meat & potato. Would have been nice to have something green on the plate as it looked very plain!
