The old aphorism, “We eat first with our eyes”, has never felt more accurate. The Italian Food Project is love at first bite! Congratulations to the staff for their level of customer service. My son loved how a ball of dough was brought out to the table while we waited for our meals. I watched the staff talk and interact with genuine joy. I always take into consideration the way employees interact, as this is an indicator of how the customer will be treated. As for the food…I am not educated enough to even describe the flavour and freshness of the products used to make these culinary delights. Apparently, there are other Italian restaurants, but why go anywhere else!

We had our wedding reception here in October and it was the best night. The food was delicious, the staff were amazing and friendly and the atmosphere lovely. Alison was welcoming, very organised and a dream to deal with when planning our event. Highly recommend!

Found this place using Google reviews and boy this place did not disappoint. The staff was super friendly and helpful and gave us good recommendations. Potato gnocchi was mouth melting. Garlic pizza, the best I’ve ever had. Tiny donuts floating in that delicious custardy soup was the perfect ending to the meal .

Great little Italian place. Beautiful food and deserts. It does get very very busy though and can be quite noisy if sitting inside. We had a few big groups around us for work Christmas parties etc, and it was very difficult to talk to each other as it was quite loud. Tip : if at all possible, it is much better to sit outside on the undercover verandah.

Fantastic little restaurant with brilliant service. The atmosphere is alive with conversation as it’s not over run by loud music. You do not have to wait long for food as it comes out promptly. In summer, the outside area would be divine. I would highly recommend if it’s a party of 2 or book the venue out…

The entrees were amazing but the pizzas were soggy and squishy, very undercooked. It was meant to be a special occasion but the staff treat it like you need to scoff the food down and then leave, which is a real shame. My partner and I felt very awkward the whole night, considering we were put outside where you can’t hear a thing and I’m deaf so that was very unfortunate and uncomfortable for me. If the staff were a lot friendlier and the pizzas were cooked well, it would be the best place around! Very upset with our visit last night.
