Went here for lunch with my husband for my birthday as we were just visiting Mackay for the weekend. I was very impressed by the menu, as the food was different from standard Cafe lunch food. The prices of the food were very reasonable too. The hummus dip was delicious and unlike anything I’ve had at a restaurant before. It was full of flavour and different textures on the plate. I had pork belly for my main and was impressed by the portion size! 3 large pieces of pork for around $20, when most restaurants would give you 1 piece for the same price. Staff were all friendly too. I would definitely recommend this place for good food and drinks!

Such a great find! Service here is amazing, we were served by James who was very friendly and bubbly, kept checking up on us and was also apologetic about the long wait time. Tried the oysters with crumbed bacon, zucchini flowers, and the ribeye steak. All very nice dishes. Just a little disappointed as the steak and potatoes were slightly cold when it was served so by the time we finished the dish it was not as enjoyable. Drinks were great, would recommend the strawberry daiquiri. This place gave me vibes of restaurants in the bigger cities, loved it!

The food is awesome, every time I’ve been I’ve been so happy, but I’m doing a special review today because I took my two children here for breakfast. One is gluten and dairy free and my gosh! The staff were so accommodating and nothing was too much of a hassle. I highly recommend this restaurant for any other allergy families! Amazing staff, amazing food. Thank you!

After eating dinner with my two girlfriends Saturday night we sadly left greatly disappointed. The pasta dish my two friends ate was lacking flavour and ended up makung both of them sick. My friend referred to it as catfood. The chicken I had was so oily. When I asked the waitress what it was served with she said as it is. If you have fancy names of your dishes perhaps wait staff should be able to tell you what the food actually is. Since it didn’t come with sides as I had asked if it did, ordered the greens, but when yhe meal arrived it actually had a side. Two entres were served while one was not, wait staff walked past several times. The third entre didn’t come for about 5 minutes. At a fine dining restaurant all meals should be served together.. It disappoints me greatly as I have been before few times but not for quite some time. Sadly the meals just seemed like overpriced pub meals. Not the fine dining I remember. We left feeling unwell, our meals 1/2 to 3/4 not eaten. I did not mention anything when we paid as I was jist dumbfounded as to our experience at what is known as the best restaurant in Mackay.

Went for dinner and drinks on a Saturday night and had a fabulous evening. First of Emily at the bar served up some delicious cocktails. Our waiter James kept us entertained throughout the night and had great knowledge on all the wines. Head chef Alex served up a delicious tasting menu. Would highly recommend!!!
