This is a regular spot for a coffee after shopping on a Saturday, but treated myself today for brekky, since it was early. Beautifully presented and so yummy…pancake stack with berries, maple syrup and ice cream. And a delicious coffee. Great start to the day. Staff are always friendly and cheerful.

Pancakes turned out to be yesterday’s stock and they never even bothered to reheat them. When you wait over 30 minutes you expect them to be freshly prepared. How long does it take to add a blob of ice cream to yesterday’s stock?

Sadly very disappointed. My mother ordered a flat white coffee which came out with a quarter of a cup of froth. I took it back and explained that she offered a flat white and it shouldn’t have froth, I got a tongue cluck and rolled eyes but the coffee was remade, unfortunately still full of froth. We all ordered toasted sandwiches and they were overcooked, almost burnt and we looked hard to find the cheese on them. The only reason for the 2 stars is that the slices mum and I ordered were lovely, the best part of the meal.

Charlie’s recently prepared food for a high tea for 20 people on short notice. The food was fresh, tasty and enjoyed by all. Coffee was great but the so called chicken wraps were horrid. It was some sort of something masquerading as chicken. Avoid. Other meals may be fine. The service was polite and efficient.
