$17 for a small apple pie sundae is damn steep! Yes, there was a weekend surcharge which took the price up from $15 to $17, but I would have been more than happy to pay that if the price was reflected in the quantity. Check out the teaspoon for comparison. The first on the ingredients list was stewed apple, but there weren’t any in there at all. The waitress took my cash in hand, then used the same hands to put toppings on the sundae which isn’t very hygienic in my opinion… The ice cream itself was yummy at least.

We came for a quick sweet treat after making some purchases at the Lolly Factory. I had two scoops of gelato and it was $7.70 and the milkshakes were $15.60 for two. The coconut sorbet was so good. I would go back for that. The texture was great. It was almost stretchy. I loved it. They have malt for the milkshakes too. You can get a few cakes and slices too, if you’re looking for food.

I was a bit wary after reading some of the negative reviews but decided to give the Dairy Bar a go.

Mango smoothie wasn’t made with fresh fruit which was on the description and tasted a bit bland. Ordered a hazelnut toffee thickshake which came out as a milkshake but it did taste nice. The apple tart slice wasn’t pleasant, it had a soggy crust and the apple tasted like it wasn’t made that day and might’ve been old.

When you arrive, it’s not super clear that there’s two different entrances: the one on the left is the actually Treat Factory store, and the one on the right is the Dairy restaurant/gelato. At the restaurant, we got a freshly baked scone with jam and cream (which was nothing special) and a vanilla slice (which we really didn’t care for – just tasted like layers of pastry with a vanilla pudding).

Wonderfully tasty fresh food with gluten free options and the service is brilliant. Love the outlook over the green paddocks. Amazing Treat shop next door. Plenty parking. Highly recommend the gf sweet patato chips and I had corn fritters.

so we decided to check out this place as the usual donut shop was really packed on the easter long weekend. Arriving to the diary bar looked ok but the menu options they had was so so, i guess this place is kinda like a cafe place.

The Dairy Bar is right next door to the Treat Factory, so after finishing up there a group of six of us decided to see what The Dairy Bar had to offer.

Easily the best coffees I have ever had in Berry. The chocolate shavings on top made it perfect. I love that it is a little out of town.
