Absolutely yummy food. There was a lot of love in what we ate tonight. Loved the risotto and octopus with a slight char flavour only accentuated with a freshly squeezed lemon. The black onion broccolini was subtle by healthy. And the lamb had the texture of beef and just beautiful.

Appalling breakfast. I ordered a full breakfast. For close to $30, I expected my breakfast to be cooked fresh. Honestly, I’ve had better “buffet style” breakfasts. The bacon was cold and rubbery as if it had been sitting in a bain-marie for hours. Same with the sausages. The eggs were poached and were ok but the rest of the dish was a disaster.

Pathetic ! I Order poached eggs Benedict with salmon, take a look at the photo what was delivered to my table. After 48 minutes and a big problem with communication between front house, waiter and kitchen, this cold disaster was on my table. The Hollandaise sauce was so cold that I could chill a beer on it. They did not even offer me a refund.

Thank you so much to The Croft House restaurant chefs and the service team especially the morning shift for cooking my cooked smoke salmon order for my wife, Vaness, as she prefer the smoke salmon to be cooked.

Wonderful experience. We stopped in for some cocktails and a charcuterie board. Awesome cocktails, great food and friendly staff. Thank you Amelia and Elizabeth for looking after us!

Got invited to check this place out with a gf who has been here before. As I knew we were coming, I tried to have a look at the menu online. I found a few versions and couldn’t tell which one was current. Turns out none of them based on the menu we got handed to us in person today . No table service – you need to go up to the counter to order. I got the steak sandwich with chips. It was a good size for me. The steak was good quality & thicker than expected for a sandwich. It looked well done & I prefer medium rare but it was actually fine & not chewy. Not sure what bread they put it on but it was toasted, buttered & very chrunchy. The chips, however, looked and tasted like it came frozen straight out of a bag. No side sauce came with it either. Expected more for the prices they were charging here. Btw this venue is more on the expensive side. It didn’t matter today as I wasn’t paying. My gf got the salmon dish (with 2 salmon cakes?) and it was really yummy. Tasted home made. Might try it next time. It wasn’t very busy today so the service was reasonable. The steak sandwich seemed to be the most popular dish at the time I went.

What we would have liked to be a quick and easy breakfast before checking out of our hotel turned into an hour ordeal of forgotten food, bad service and overcharging us for something we didn’t even order. After waiting 30 minutes for a bagel and croissant (literally the easiest order ever) the staff tried charging us $40 for extra coffees we didn’t order. Seems to be a lot of miscommunication going on behind the scenes here resulting in bad customer service. Bagel was decent but it’s hard to mess up a bagel.

Had breakfast here on Easter Monday and had a steady flow of people. Got a seat straight away and the order came almost instantly! Coffee was incredible and the Chia Acai was amazing. Would definitely come again and was worth the search.

We had the Salmon Hash and steak sandwich. Very little salmon in the pattie and the salad was drowned in dressing, so much dressing that you could not taste the salad. The steak sandwich had a huge amount of chips that were average at best and the steak below average. Simple food prepared badly. Cannot recommend this place for lunch.

I ordered the croissant eggs Benedict thinking it’d be amazing considering the price. I couldn’t be more wrong! The eggs were hard and cold and the croissant looked like it was from Woolies. It took so long to come out and I was with a work colleague so didn’t complain. I would absolutely not recommend this place.
