What a perfect end to a lovely day! We’ve tried steaks in every place we’ve stopped in this part of Queensland, and these are the best. The Pork belly is also divine. I even loved the snap peas! They were very helpful in modifying things for our food allergies!

Unfortunately food was a let down. Ordered country breakfast and bacon uncooked, mushrooms were pre cooked, waffle breakfast was also order came out with 3 blueberries and a few tiny pieces of strawberries lucky to make one small strawberry, so disappointing, but coffee is good

If you’re going to Longreach you must dine at The Branch. Apart from the street appeal and gorgeously decorated interior, it has the most beautiful garden at the back which is really stunning at night. We dined with friends and it was a really lovely evening. They have the friendliest staff who went out of their way to accommodate dietary needs. The food was amazing. I had the pork belly which was really delicious. Get yourself dressed up and enjoy an unforgettable night at The Branch.

The coffee here is impeccable, delicious and perfectly extracted the food however was a bit of a different story, I got the Smashed Avo with 2 poached eggs, the poached eggs came in a little cup swimming in yolky water juice and the Avocado taste suspiciously like Avocado dip you get from the shops, also might want to rethink those flat black chalky plates as you can’t cut on them without adding ceramic dust to your food.
