Beautiful outlook with pretty good food and service. Have eaten in the restaurant multiple times and it’s always a pleasant experience. The kiosk is great with multiple takeaway options you can purchase and then eat overlooking the beach or on a picnic.

We had great Fish and Chips and 2 glasses of really good white wine for lunch. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there taking in the amazing view and ambience. Great location, great service and food. We’ll be doing this a lot more. We’ve done the take away food a bunch too while walking along the path…very thankful for this place.

The food was meh, but the service was really poor. No matter how busy the venue is, it shouldn’t take half an hour for the first drink to come out to your table. I know hospo is stretched for good staff at the moment but our server wasn’t trained in the basics. Dining out should be a pleasant and enjoyable experience, and not a test in how much patience you have.

Fabulous restaurant based on the foreshore overlooking Botany Bay! The A la carte menu is a must, food is delicious and well presented! Food menu is limited but has a good drinks menu. You can dine inside or outside! It can be windy outside. Awesome service! Fine dining & waterfront, simply the best to celebrate any occasion! Booking is essential, as it’s not a big restaurant!

Had the grazing feast which was just ok and had a few issues. The dishes didn’t really go together but separately they were alright and while the broccolini was nice as it was, it was described as meant to have been charred. I don’t understand the large serving of iceberg lettuce with 3 shavings of cucumber and a lot of dill.

Great location right on Ettalong Beach with views out to Pittwater and Brisbane Waters. The menu is varied and delicious. The service was friendly staff were friendly and efficient considering the restaurant was full. While we found it a little noisey The Box is definitely a spectacular venue to kick back, relax and enjoy a great dining experience.

sitting with a view if the ocean was so peaceful. All the front of the restaurant is glass windows that can be open on warm days and closed on windy or cold days. Facing north so the sun is behind during the afternoon. Food is excellent, and innovative. Things are a bit slow which suits us. We like to take our time for a Sunday lunch. I wish I had found this place sooner, we will go as many Sundays as we can. Looking forward to the summer menu. Best food on the Central Coast and we have been to most.

Huge huge disappointment. The lamb shank was tough and had to b carved. It was only just warm. Dry couscous and warm jelly sauce. It wasn’t prepared. My companions had fish and chips and you can’t go wrong with that. But the curry was also hardly warm. The kitchen clearly is using a microwave and not very well. Everything was overprice. seared scallops each a different size at 8 dollars each. If they were the same size it would demonstrate some effort. I’m fact the only effort provided was the bill. I was too embarrassed to say anything but I hope this review serves as warning.
