The restaurant has a cozy and lively atmosphere, with friendly staff and delicious food. I ordered the lamb shank with mashed potatoes and vegetables, and it was tender, juicy and flavorful. I am really happy that we decided to have desserts at Blue Fox restaurant. There are only few restaurants that do justice to sticky date puddings and Blue Fox will come in that list. Their warm chocolate pudding was equally great and we devoured it in minutes. Both desserts were nicely presented which made them look even more delicious.Staff at the restaurant is nice and make you feel welcome. On my next visit to Lithgow I will try their cocktails and main course.

There’s a certain “Je ne sais quoi” about this place that you won’t want to miss! It was a pleasant surprise to discover the perfect espresso martini and old-fashioned here. If only we had more time, we would have loved to try every dish on the menu and drink at the bar.

Was taken by the family as a late birthday present, and it was great! From walking through the front door of the double fronted cottage into the main bar area, we were met by a very friendly staff member who showed us straight to our table and provided menus and the drinks list. Water appeared very quickly with a very unnecessary apology for the delay(30 seconds!). Very good menu and a short specials menu.
