Warm, inviting and intimate atmosphere. Friendly and attentive waiters. Little wait for dinner but was well worth it! Excellent flavours and display. Would definitely return if I was in the area again!

Good food, friendly staff, but seem to be lacking in the drinks department. Limited wine options and no cider options. But despite that, the food IS good, so yes we will be back. (But don’t have the apple crumble. It’s full of whole dried cloves. Yikes.)

A beautiful atmosphere with such delicious food, we were only in the area for two nights but loved it so much the first night that we went again the next night! Great friendly service from the waiter Jordan. We’ll definitely be back next time we come down!

We were really excited to try this place however were left very underwhelmed. The food was poor. The service was sadly even worse. The wait staff were very unprofessional and when the waiter spilt a drink actually swore loudly and threw the drinks tray at the wall!!! ( There were multiple episodes of foul language and unprofessionalism) The mashed potato was lumpy and inedible due to the amount of salt! The sauce portion for two people was about three tablespoons… The Presentation was poor ….very sad as this place has the potential to be great and we like to support local where we can! I would sadly call it over priced pub meals at best . it didn’t deliver and we won’t be returning.

Phoned mid-morning on a Wednesday to make a booking and got a recorded message requesting I leave a message. Turned up for lunch around 12:30, but nobody in attendance although the signage clearly said that it was open from 10:30 am as did the website. If the chef de cuisine is as passionate as the publicity claims, you’d think he’d turn up to work at least!

Excellent food made using local produce and fine wines. Reasonable pricing, great service but it wasnt that busy. If your a diehard foodie this little place is a must. Avoid the Hotel over the road at all costs.
