I didn’t realise Padstow was home to such an authentic Gyros. It’s refreshing to see how this takeaway keeps it traditional, with quality ingredients and rejecting the modern gyros take of making it in a ‘V’ shape. Must point out the chicken….it was simply brilliant. Tender, succulent and done the traditional Greek way. My only gripe is I wish the chilli sauce was hotter, but considering how tasty the product was, especially the chicken I’ll let that one go. Overall it’s delicious, authentic, filling and worth every dollar. Real excited to return.

Would have been nice if they changed the oil from time to time and not have blow flys cooked in there batter on there scallops. Also no need for rudeness because you are flustered over being busy.

I love the food at George’s Takeaway. The Chips are the best as is the pork with amazing crackling and exceptional chicken schnitzel. The staff are very friendly and always ready to take my order and serve the food in record time

George’s is a family run business been therefore 40+years scallops n chips can recommend everything in this Take Away always fresh,hot cold Delicious Hamburgers are the best but you can’t beat a Stuffed Capsicum there to die for great staff whoop Whoop Chicken Schnitzel it melts in your mouth scallops are amazing Awesome A+++++

I have eaten here on and off for many years and always the food has been good. The staff hard working and friendly. There is a good range of offerings including the usual burgers, chicken, chips, salads and ready made sandwiches. Sadly, this visit the burger was dried out and the chips undercooked. This was very much out of character, where in the past I would have said they produce the best burgers in town. Will return.
